Block Puzzle - Quadrants 1.2

This variation of the classic block puzzle presents a compelling challenge where players aim to fill and clear sections of the game board until they can no longer make moves. While the gameplay is straightforward, achieving mastery requires strategic thinking.

The design allows for brief gaming sessions, making it ideal for a quick play when time is limited. The absence of time constraints enables players to thoughtfully consider their moves.

How to Play

Players will rotate and position 20 different geometric puzzle pieces in five vibrant colors on a 10 x 10 game board. Each turn provides two pieces, with a preview of the next two available. The primary objective is to fill all 25 blocks within one or more quadrants, which will clear those sections and allow for additional placements. The game continues as long as players can place available pieces, but it is essential to avoid running out of space. Consistently clearing quadrants is key to progressing.

How to Score Points

• Place a puzzle piece to earn 1 point for each square it occupies.
• Fill a quadrant for 25 bonus points.
• Complete a quadrant in a single color for 250 bonus points.
• Simultaneously fill two quadrants for a x2 bonus multiplier.
• Simultaneously fill three quadrants for a x4 bonus multiplier.
• Fill the entire board to achieve an x8 bonus multiplier.
• Clear the board completely for 250 special bonus points (this does not apply to any bonus multipliers).
